The Herman Bennett Foundation was founded in 1996 by Herman Bennett, a long-time resident of Camarillo, CA. Herman Bennett had a tremendous fondness for animals, especially cats. 'Disturbed by the suffering of so many animals, Mr. Bennett wanted to establish a legacy that would make a difference - thus, the Herman Bennett Foundation. The Foundation is a private, non-profit corporation dedicated to providing educational programs that will promote responsible animal care and diminish the number of homeless animals and the number of animals that are euthanized each year.
Sadly, Mr. Bennett died in February of 2003, but he passed away knowing that his legacy would live on and his wish to make a better world for animals, especially cats and dogs, would be fulfilled through the work of the Foundation. |
